Saturday Showcase

A promotional opportunity for your Non-Profit, Community Organization, or Campaign!

Join us on various Saturdays between May-October from 8AM to 12PM on our Courtyard at Corner Connection, with high visibility at the intersection of Washington Street and Samuel Street in Downtown Charles Town, WV. This opportunity is FREE OF CHARGE to support our community!

We will open up our Courtyard to allow for up to 6 exhibits or activities hosted by Non-Profits, Community Organizations, or Campaigns. Tents are permitted on a case by case basis. If you are interested, please complete the form below and we will be in touch to confirm details and dates.

Guidelines:

  • You must be a verified 501(c) organization or a designated representative or volunteer.

    • Permitted Example: You are a volunteer for a verified animal rescue in the region and you are hosting an adoption meet and greet on their behalf.

    • Not Permitted Example: You are holding a bucket requesting cash donations as an individual for a non-profit that you are not a delegated representative of and/or the non-profit has not approved your activity.

    • You may sell items as part of the fundraiser, if ALL proceeds are going to the organization.

    • You may conduct a bake sale, food sale, etc if you have met the requirements (if applicable) for the Jefferson County Health Department.

  • Community Organizations such as Youth Athletics, School Boosters, 4H, Girl Scouts, etc WILL BE permitted to have a booth or activity for fundraising, even if their org is not filed under a 501(c) status.

    • We know not all leagues and youth groups will always fall under a 501(c) status. We want to support you and the efforts to keep the children of our community engaged in positive activities!

  • Individuals or Parties promoting a Campaign.

    • We believe in information and awareness on the various points of view and representation of the important topics in and around Jefferson County, WV.

    • Making an informed choice in our local elections, staying engaged on local issues and development, and maintaining an open awareness of all official conversations is of critical importance.

    • For ANY campaign exhibitor, kind conversations and courteous dialogue are expected.

    • You may be near another booth with opposing view points, or approached by a community member with opposing view points. Respect is expected by ALL parties.

    • Campaign signage may not be placed outside the fenced courtyard or on the exterior of the fence and is limited to your booth/exhibit space.

  • Spaces are First Come, First Reserved based on available dates.

  • Cancellations are at the discretion of the venue, Corner Connection, based on weather and availability.

  • Corner Connection’s main building will NOT be open for public access on these dates. The Courtyard will be the only permitted gathering space for these activities.
