Welcome to the enchanting world of Jane Austen at our delightful Tea! Immerse yourself in the elegant Regency era as we pay tribute to the beloved English novelist, Jane Austen. This enchanting gathering brings together Austen enthusiasts, literary aficionados, and admirers of the refined social customs of the early 19th century. As you step into the gardens, you'll be transported back in time to Austen's novels. The setting exudes an air of sophistication and grace, with period-inspired decor, floral arrangements, and delicate lace embellishments adorning every corner.

The centerpiece of the event is, of course, the tea. Delicate china teacups and saucers are elegantly arranged on long tables, accompanied by an array of aromatic teas, both traditional and modern blends. Expert tea sommeliers guide guests through the art of brewing and tasting, ensuring that each cup is a flavorful experience.

Jane Austen Garden Tea will be served at the Corner Connection's Flora Terrace (119 E. Washington St, Charles Town, WV) on July 16 to celebrate the life of famed author, Jane Austen. There will be Austen trivia and door prizes. Tickets are $38 (plus tax) and available at www.cornerconnectionwv.com. enchanting world of Jane Austen at our delightful Tea!

• Three seating times of 10 AM, 12 PM, and 2 PM (each seating is 90 minutes) are provided for each date.

• Space is limited as the terrace gardens only seat 10 max. Walk ins welcome but no guarantee of space if all seats are reserved. Reservations recommended.

In this 1-hour event, learn about the 5 teas that protestors dumped into Boston Harbor on Dec. 16, 1773. See, smell, and taste the teas like a professional while learning a bit of history about activities that sparked the American Revolution. Appropriate for ages 12 and older.

Imagine stepping into a world of magic and wonder as graceful mermaids emerge from a crystal-clear pool, their tails shimmering in the sunlight. The venue for this mesmerizing spectacle is a picturesque Courtyard adorned with colorful aquatic decorations, located in Downtown Charles Town. We will be transforming Corner Connection into undersea perfection.

The enchantment of this live mermaid event is not limited to mere observation. Attendees may have the opportunity to engage with the mermaids, creating unforgettable memories. The mermaids interact with the crowd, engaging in playful games, waving, blowing kisses, and even posing for photos. Their infectious joy and childlike wonder captivate everyone around them, fostering an atmosphere of pure enchantment. Our unique and immersive experience offers a variety of opportunities to join in the activities of the day!

Tea Under the Sea - BUY TICKETS HERE! Tickets will be $35.00 per and includes one bottomless pot of tea per person, savories/sandwiches, scones, jam, clotted cream, sweets. There will be lemonade and water, as well.

We will offer 3 sessions for a Courtyard Tea with our mermaids, as they engage with the audience in a spellbinding atmosphere which promises to be a truly magical and unforgettable adventure. Each session is 45 minutes and limited to 20 people.

Sessions will be at 9AM, 10AM, and 11AM.

General Admission - BUY TICKETS HERE! Includes direct access to the Courtyard at Corner Connection, and a meet and greet with photo opportunities. Mermaids will be both in the pool and staged in their shells. Tickets will be $5.00 per person/child. We will offer these opportunities from 12PM to 7PM

Spectator - Absolutely FREE! You can view our mermaids from the street and through to our fenced in Courtyard. Our "Under The Sea" Walk will be open for passersby to catch a glimpse and awe in the wonder. We encourage you to come up and visit us from 12PM to 7pm and take in the magic of the moment.
